We highly recommend students attend the annual sports physical clinic night in June hosted by Sierra Care Physicians and other local doctors at 140 Litton Drive Suite 100 (at the roundabout). Cost is reasonable and sports packets may be picked up at the Main Office, the Athletic Department (located in the Student Store) or you can download all forms from the website. If your physical is completed by a family doctor please return the entire signed and completed athletic packet directly to the athletic department (office located in the Student Store) for student clearance.

If you are planning on driving students other than your children to school events a parent driver application is required. Forms may be picked up at the Main Office, Athletic Department (located in the Student Store) or downloaded from the website and should be returned with copies of your insurance policy and drivers license to the athletic department for approval.

Please contact the school or head coach for information regarding tryouts.

Meetings for each sport will be hosted by the head coaches at the beginning of each season.

Transfer Students

All students coming to Nevada Union from another school MUST speak with the athletic director.  CIF must approve ALL transfer students for athletic eligibility.  CIF forms may be required subject to the conditions of the student transfer. See CIF bylaws 206,207 and 510 for student transfer details (cifsjs.org).

Students and parents are expected to read the Athletic Code.  Any issues, questions or concerns should be discussed with the coaching staff as a first course of action. Please refer to section I-2 of the Athletic Code for communication protocol. Any appropriate issues that are not resolved in a meeting between student/parent and coach may be brought to the attention of the AD.
