This course is designed to challenge and enrich the levels of understanding of students identified for their superior level of English skills, critical thought and selfmotivation. Students concentrate on development of multi-paragraph themes and detailed analysis of world literature. Students do not receive an extra grade point for grades earned in this course. Students not receiving a “B” or better at the semester may be moved to the regular English 1 class.
