Freshmen must enroll in Physical Education. The physical education program has groups of units, four to nine weeks in length. Twenty credits of PE are required for graduation. In addition to Freshmen PE students may enroll in classes such as dance, basketball, weight training, football, wrestling, baseball/softball, moving for fitness, and PEOPLE.
The freshmen co-ed program introduces students to a variety of physical activities including, individual sports, aquatic dance and introduction to weight training and fitness. Emphasis is placed on evaluating personal fitness and setting goals for a healthier lifestyle.
