AP American Government

This course is designed to challenge higher thinking students with an in-depth study of the Constitutional underpinnings of American Government, the political behavior of citizens, political parties and interest groups, the institutions and policy processes of the national government, and the status and development of civil rights and civil liberties. The University of California recognizes this as an AP class and adds one point when computing one’s G.P.A. Students must
be enrolled in American Government AP/Economics for the year in order to receive the inflated grade point average for American Government AP.
