Art class for all skill levels; no prior experience is required. Experience is based primarily on hands-on art making including drawing and painting skills and techniques. Class requires daily participation, effort, and work completion to ensure success. Students will produce finished drawings and paintings as well as keep a detailed sketchbook. Students will use a variety of media including but not limited to: pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, pastel, India ink, acrylic paints and watercolor. Must pass Art 1 with a B grade or better to move on to Art 2.
