All NU Student-Athletes must meet both the NJUHSD and CIF academic eligibility standards. Each student must:
have recorded a minimum of a 2.0 GPA during the grading period prior to athletic participation
be enrolled in at least 20 semester periods of work
A 2.0 GPA must be earned at each grading period throughout the athlete’s sport season
In addition, an athlete who has two grades of “F” in the last grading period, is ineligible to participate (practice or play) in athletics even though he/she may have maintained a 2.0 GPA and earned twenty (20) credits.
