2025-2026 Athletics Registration
The registration window on ArbiterSports will open on the following dates:
- Cheer Team - March 21, 2025
- Football - April 12, 2025
- All Other Athletics Programs - May 11, 2025
All students wanting to participate in sports at Nevada Union must have medical insurance to cover them during their sports, register online with ArbiterSports, submit a new sports physical to the Athletics/ASB Office and receive an approval before trying out or participating in any sport, including organized summer activity.
Please scan and email or bring the completed physical to the Athletics office after registering on ArbiterSports.
If you have already opened a registration for the current school year, please access your ArbiterSports account, open the registration, under the "Registrations" tab, find the "Edit" button (sometimes on the very far right) and edit the registration to add a new sport or change a sport.

Grade Eligibility Reporting Periods for 2025-2026
All NU Student-Athletes must meet both the NJUHSD and CIF academic eligibility standards. Each student must:
- have recorded a minimum of a 2.0 GPA during the grading period prior to athletic participation
- be enrolled in at least 20 semester periods of work
- A 2.0 GPA must be earned at each grading period throughout the athlete’s sport season
In addition, an athlete who has two grades of “F” in the last grading period, is ineligible to participate (practice or play) in athletics even though he/she may have maintained a 2.0 GPA and earned twenty (20) credits.
Each season of sport has 2 Grade Reporting Periods that determine eligibility. The first reporting period sets eligibility for the beginning of the season. The second reporting period determines if student-athletes continue throughout the season or not.
The following are the Grade Reporting Periods for the 2024-2025 School Year:
Fall Sports:
- 24/25 Semester 2 - June 13, 2025
- Quarter 1 - October 3, 2025
Winter Sports:
- Quarter 1 - October 3, 2025
- Semester 1 - December 19, 2025
Spring Sports:
- Semester 1 - December 19, 2025
- Quarter 3 - March 13, 2026
