School Level Parent / Family Engagement Policy
TITLE 1: Title 1 federal funds help to meet the educational needs of students in California schools. Funds are
used to support effective, evidence-based educational strategies that close the achievement gap and enable
the students to meet the state’s challenging academic standards. The activity/expenditure serves the needs of
students that are identified most at risk of failing to meet challenging State academic standards on the basis of
multiple, educational related, objective criteria established by the LEA and supplemented by the school.
