Integrated Math 1
This course does not meet college admission requirements. Entry-Level finance course designed to review basic math skills and their application in a consumer setting. Topics included are income, money management, spending, credit, savings and investing.
Essential Learning Outcomes (ELOs):
By the end of this course students will be able to:
- Solve one, two, and multi-step linear equations.
- Solve one, two, and multi-step inequalities.
- Define the slope of a linear equation in a real world context.
- Write and graph linear equations.
- Solve systems of linear equations and inequalities.
- Use the properties of exponents to manipulate exponential and radical expressions.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and factor polynomials.
- Solve, factor, and graph quadratic equations.
- Use The Pythagorean Theorem and its inverse to solve geometric problems.
- Manipulate radical expressions and solve radical equations.
- Manipulate rational expressions and solve rational equations.
- Interpret and solve real world problems.
