Partners
Partners who are placed in the Special Day classroom will work alongside one or more Special Day class students each day, assisting them in completing their daily tasks. Depending on the period, peer Partners will have the opportunity to work with students in the Special Day classroom, or in elective classes. Partners will have the opportunity to work one on one, and in a small group setting with a variety of students. Partners will have training from classroom support staff on procedures and guidelines regarding specific students. Ongoing support and mentorship will be provided to
partners throughout the semester from the Partners/PEOPLE coordinator during Flex one time per month.
