STARS
STARS is a Student Assistance Program serving all of Nevada Joint Union High School District
Services include:
- Direct therapy services with STARS therapists
- Wellness Screenings
- Wellness Groups
- Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Resources
- Education and support for healthy relationships
- Referrals for substance use counseling for alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs
- Resources and referrals to community-based agencies
- Crisis response and bridge to community crisis services

- Individual therapy sessions with Behavioral Health staff
- What's Up Wellness Checkups - in-school suicide prevention program offering mental health screenings with follow-up support, referrals and case management for teens and their families as needed. In-school prevention groups are also offered. www.whatsupwellness.com
